8 months old already!!!

So I haven't posted in awhile about Miss Keely Marie, I have been very busy with school and trying to keep up with her! Last Saturday she turned 8 months old!! She is getting to be such a big girl!! She still isn't crawling, but she is warming up to the idea a bit more and is willing to be on her stomach a lot longer now. So maybe in the next few weeks she will get the hang of it!

Just because she isn't crawling doesn't mean she isn't learning to do other things. She now says "dada", not consistently but we hear it every once in awhile. She waves "hello" and "bye-bye", also not consistently yet but she's getting better at it. She claps her hands now, which is super cute! She has been eating more and more table foods, which she loves. Pancakes and pizza crusts seem to be a favorite so far!!

A couple of weeks ago she was very sick, we ended up having to take her to the Emergency Room. It was pretty darn scary. She is doing 100% better now!! Back in daycare, and back to her normal talkative, rambunctious self!!

And she stands!!

Not quite by herself yet, but she will stand up holding on to something. Her favorite so far is her music table, because then she actually get's to do something while she's standing up. She won't quite pull her self up to standing yet, but she was sort of trying in the bath tub tonight, so I don't think it will be much longer. As for crawling, the girl has no interest at all. We put her on her tummy, and she just gets upset, and plants her face into the ground. (Such a silly girl) Other than that things have been pretty normal. She loves her daycare, and they love her. They say she is the smiliest child they have!!! We go in on Monday to find out her weight, and height, so I will post then!!

So we had Keely's 6 months pictures done today!! She is such the little model, it's soooo funny. She loves the camera. I was lucky that she had taken a nap right before we went because that helped a lot too. So we sort of went with a Valentine theme (which I thought was adorable) and the onesie with the bow I had especially made for her!! So I am finally starting a blog about Miss Keely Marie. I should have started this over six months ago, but the time just got by me with how busy we have been. Keely will be SEVEN months old next Wednesday, and I just can't believe it. She is getting to be such a big girl!!

These are all the things Keely does now:

• Laughs ALL the time!
• Smiles ALL the time!!
• Sits up on her own
• Jumps in her jumperoo
• Plays alone with her toys
• Stands with help

She loves to "pet" the animals now as well. It's more she runs her hand on their fur, and then clenches their hair in her little fist, and pulls. She thinks it's awesome, they don't think to much of her. haha.


We are getting six month pictures on Saturday (a little late, but she will still technically be 6 months). So I will post pics of her from that when we get them!!

We spent Christmas up in Mt Vernon with the Otterholt's. In total we spent about a week and a half there, and had a great time!! Keely's nana and grandpa got to spend a lot of time with her, which was soooo great!! She also got to spend a lot of time with her auntie!! We took her to see Santa on the 22nd, and she LOVED him. It was so cute!! Christmas Eve we went down and spent with Keely's Oma and her other auntie, and a great Mexican food dinner. On Christmas morning Keely got to open all of her presents, which she wasn't in to, she wanted to play with the wrapping paper more!! (and the tissue paper!!)
